Number 2: inventory clog if you pick up the wrong endlessly spawning quest items you can bork your inventory. Terrible melee item decay that makes the game annoying and I pick builds with kung fu and/or ranged attacks. However there are still some problems that even fans such as myself have with the game. So they did do some work rather than just release 2012 version verbatim. Oh and best of all now more than 8 save slots… in fact quite infinite almost. I don’t play DL multiplayer so I don’t know any specifics.įor the other problems they have fixed many things like some graphics, UI, ‘getting stuck in the floor of one of the realms’… don’t know what else to call it, fixed up/changed/streamlined some spells and mechanics. At some point it was also like 3,99 / 0,99 on steam.Asylum101 they did patch it a couple times after this latest re-release but they never managed to fix the multi-player which from what I understand they were hoping would be a great drawing point of the new release. Not to mention, that in the end they did release a couple of bigger patches for Pixel Piracy. So if they can re-skin and re-balanced this for space, it could be very fun. It was goofy, cartoonishly funny, including dringking/singing during sailing and in taverns and so on. "Battle Brothers", which seems to do it right. So during battles there was no danager whatsoever and you could stick with your "immortal" team forever. Pixel Piracy was not - at certain point your dudes were equipped with super overpowered weapons and were raping anything, including the 4 "legendary" (supposed to be end game) pirate ships. The thing is: this concept works only if the game is balanced. It was super addictive for the first 1-2 days. You then travel the open sees and raid other ships and islands and what not. You basically recruit and develop a team of pirates (there are stats, perks, levels, different weapons, healing options), while also improving your ship and managing the "jobs" (fishing, cleaning, cooking.) on it.
